What Juvasonic is
Juvasonic is a handheld, Class I professional device. It combines gentle mechanical exfoliation with sonic vibration to temporarily loosen the outermost layer of the scalp, the layer of dead surface cells. That prepares your scalp for the topical serum we apply during your session.
It works on the surface only. Nothing is injected, cut or punctured.
What a session is like
We check your scalp first. Juvasonic is only used on healthy, intact skin.
We cleanse and dry the area.
We apply your serum with the device in smooth, overlapping passes, using a new sterile, single-use tip every time.
About fifteen minutes on its own, or added to another scalp service.
The serums we use
We use professional Grandha USA botanical scalp tonics, chosen for your scalp at your HairPRO analysis.
When we won't use it
For your safety we skip Juvasonic, or adjust the session, if your scalp has:
Open wounds, broken skin or active bleeding
An active infection, inflammation or irritation
Unexplained spots or lesions
A known sensitivity to the serum
A recent procedure, unless your medical provider has cleared the area
We take extra care with sensitive scalps, active skin conditions and recent exfoliation.
