Unwanted hair is often a problem for both
men and women. Waxing has long been a great
way to remove this problematic hair. Waxing
causes less irritation than shaving and the
unwanted hair is gone for weeks. With
shaving, the hair is apparent in less than a
day. With waxing, the hair is removed by the
root in a quick motion with only momentary
discomfort. The good news is that frequent
waxing works in your favor to traumatize the
hair follicle so the ball at the end of the
hair’s follicle gets smaller, and unwanted
hair gets finer. Regular waxing works
beneficially to help to make your future hair
growth much finer and much slower.

Q. Does hair waxing hurt?
A. Honestly, it's just the first time
waxing that hurts the most, but the good
news is, if you wax regularly, less hair is
removed each time resulting in less
discomfort!
Q. Will the hair grow back darker, stronger, or
thicker?
A. Absolutely not! When hair is
shaved, it is cut off at the thickest part
of the hair, which is why you feel stubble
the next day. When we wax, we remove the
hair from the root. When the hair grows back
it’s a new hair, very fine and soft, so
there is no stubble. The only things that
actually promote hair growth are hormones
and
heredity.
Q. How often will I need it done?
A. Recommended frequency is once a
month, at about the same time every month,
so the hair will be at a proper length
because 3-4 weeks of hair outgrowth is
necessary to achieve an effective wax.
