I had an AMAZING experience in Salon 554 and I wanted to share my feedback for your site! I came into Salon 554 a month or so ago for a tricky color correction (died black hair) highlights and cut and I was totally impressed! The girls you have working there are adorable and super friendly, Sara Marie worked on my hair and not only was she incredibly easy to communicate with as far as what I wanted, she truly is a hair genius! I've seriously not had one "bad hair day" since visiting your salon! Sara gave me exactly what I wanted and interpreted the rest how she felt would look best and total gave me a completely new head of GORGEOUS hair. I couldn't be happier. I've never had a positive experience in a salon ever in my life and now I just can't wait to come back and let Sara work her MAGIC. Your service was totally affordable but I felt like I should have paid more for the results I got. Salon 554 was recommended to me and I've recommended it to everyone I know. I'll never want to go to another salon after being blown away by Salon 554. Thank you Sara!!

Sara Marie- OMG! I just want to say "thank you" but thank you isn't enough: I came to you to fix the mess that was my hair, but I came out with a makeover. My hair feels like silk, the cut is so perfect I don't have to do a thing to it in the morning. The color is hip, but also appropriate for a woman of 60. Your salon is filled with beautiful, young, talented women, and I felt like a part of the group. Your gracious attention to me while managing your store was quite impressive. So thank you. Sarah, it has now been 2 1/2 weeks since I got my hair colored with the new L'Oreal product. My hair has maintained its color completely and has not lightened up. My hair is still silky and smooth. I thought by now that when I blow dry it, that it would be bushy but it is not. I'm actually surprised by this because it feels like I put a straighter on it. When they said your hair over time would be like virgin hair I can see the difference by 100% that my hair has changed and I look forward to my next treatment. I think I will go a color lighter for a browner look when I make my next appt. Thanks again for giving me new hair haha. I will see you the night of the Open House!

I happened upon this salon because they carry a hard-to-find hair product I like. I also needed a new stylist. I asked for a recommendation depending on my style and hair type, and the receptionist paired me with Carli.

She spends a lot of time perfecting my cut and styling my hair, for only $40. I would expect to pay at least $50 for this level of service. I have not had experience with other stylists, but they all seem professional and up to speed on techniques. Very professional and classy place. I love this salon! Sara Marie is my stylist and has become a dear friend as well. All the stylists are so professional! They really know their stuff. You can tell they keep up on all the new styles and techniques. They also offer a wide variety of excellent products. Some may say it is pricey but it is well worth it. You really do get what you pay for here!

I was so pleased to be one of the first two clients on the West Coast to model your new product. The technology is fantastic, and it was such a privilege to learn about the high quality of this product. As a part-time working mom of two toddlers it was treat to have my hair colored. I love the way it looks, the depth and shine is lovely (I'm already getting compliments at work!). I'm not one to put many chemicals in my hair, but I love that this is a more gentle product - no ammonia!!! I am also very sensitive to smells and there is virtually no odor, seriously, that's amazing!

Dear Salon 554, Wow! That is what my friends and husband had to say about my hair today. I want to send a big Thank You to Sarah Marie for trying the new L'Oreal INOA coloring product on me. First of all you must understand my hair dilemma. I have not been able to color my grey for four years due to a sensitive scalp that burned and itched with normal coloring products. After turning 50 I had to go to organic food and hair products. I have very thick bushy hair and now this new revolutionary product that is ammonia and fragrance free has tamed my hair with a true shiny color. Besides that it left no brown coloring line on my skin .It feels silky smooth with no hint of smell. Thank you for making me look younger and be healthy at the same time. Marie Lerud

 I got my hair cut here and I absolutely love it.. very comfortable & nicely decorated. Great stylists! Also I read the review before this and noticed the part about tanning booths. I called them to make an appt. as I'm interested in the tanning and they told me they don't have any in their salon. Simple mistake I guess. Brittany Y.

 Salon 554 is a beautiful new salon in downtown Salem. A great place to get a facial, pedicure, or haircut. They even have one of those new tan booths, where you can get an even allover spray. If for some reason you are looking for a new stylist, I am happy to recommend mine! Tony McCammon, a great stylist. Give it a try!

 I've been going to Salon 554 for about 2 years now. My hairstylist is JC and she has amazing hands! even when your haircut is growing out it looks good! It's a nice place, very classy and you do get your money's worth and even more. If you're looking for someone to cut your hair according to your style, face shape and type of hair, this is the place to go!
